Hopping it up with Dale’s Pale Ale
I brought my sixer of Oskar Blues Dale’s Pale Ale to Miller Park this afternoon to enjoy while tailgating prior to the Brewers vs. Pirates game. To describe this pale ale, I’ll use the description printed on the can: “a voluminously hopped mutha of a pale ale”. This dry and crisp pale ale indeed has a lot of hops, it doesn’t have the super high bitter as you might expect though. As far as a pale ale, it’s one of the best I’ve ever had, I enjoyed three of them before we went into the game and will enjoy the other three as soon as I can. If you have a chance, try this pale ale if you are a fan, it would be hard for it to disappoint you. 9/10. I like the message under the date code on the bottom of the can too:

I also purchased one beer in Miller Park, a Horny Goat Exposed, it was $5.25 for a 12oz pour, which for being in Miller Park isn’t that bad compared to the $6.75 for 16oz bottles available. The main reason I got the beer was because I wanted to see what was available at the so-called craft/micro brew stand. They had a few Lakefront beers and Leinenkugels but really they didn’t have much, but some is better than none I guess. The problem is the one I wanted was Lakefront’s Riverwest Stein, but at $7.00 for a draft 12-16oz, not sure which glass they were using, I’m not sure if it’s worth it.
