Map Room post Stanley Cup parade

Caught a cab after welcoming the Stanley Cup to Chicago as the Blackhawks brought it through the city.  With the chance to chill for the afternoon, Map Room was the logical choice.

Started off with the North Coast Brewing’s Pranqster Belgian strong pale ale.  Nice a sweet just like I like my Belgians.  Saw some reviews with smell/taste of banana, I didn’t pick that up, but I think I’ll try another one just to see if I can the next time.  8/10.

Before leaving, I had to have one more.  So, a little out of my box, I selected Schneider Wiesen Edel-Weisse, a supposed hoppy wheat beer.  Well it had the hops, not so much to ruin the great wheat base beer either.  8/10.
