Who ordered this?

I tailgated with a few friends last Sunday for the Brewers vs Phillies, let’s just say the tailgating was much better than the baseball.
My first beer wasn’t chosen for me, Dennis pulled out a New Glarus Unplugged Apple Ale that he had for at least a year, so aged. A very fruity & sweet beer, not sure if it was more-so than a fresh one would be. I wish it wasn’t a retired beer so that I could compare, overall very enjoyable, almost apple cider beer, 9/10. Thanks Dennis!
After the big sweet New Glarus, it was time to shift gears and pull out one of the brews I brought for myself. Lagunitas Maximus IPA. This rates at 72.41 IBU (International Bitterness Units scale) so it’s clear there are plenty of hops even before tasting. And while the bitter hits you early, it also lingers a bit, in the middle you can even catch some malt and sweets. For a hophead this was very delicious, 9/10.
