The Belgian Kick Continues

I don’t know why, I’ve been gravitating towards Belgian styles lately.  I purchased in the last week: Unibroue La Fin Du Monde because of it’s high ratings to go with the bottle of Unibroue Maudite I purchased, I also purchased Goose Island’s Sofie, Rogue’s John John Dead Guy Ale, and Palo Santo Marron from Dogfish Head.

I’m really looking forward to the Palo Santo Marron & trying the La Fin Du Monde.  But on a Friday night after sitting in traffic making my way from Wrigley Field back to Wisconsin, I just wanted to sit and relax.  So I chose the Sofie Belgian style ale.  Very floral sweet aroma that wasn’t lost in the taste.  Decent body, some left over yeast floating around, overall very good, 9/10.
