Atlantic City Beerfest Ratings

AC Beerfest, in order of tasting:

Bonus tastings at heaven, I mean Eulogy:

  • Ommegang Abbey Ale Dubbel – 8/10 for my first beer at Eulogy, I was half-way done when I saw the next beer, and I got excited.
  • Delirium Tremens – Cue the choir to sing some heavenly tune, a beer often rated in the Top whatever list of beers, was not only available, it had its own freaking tap & handle at Eulogy.  I nearly crapped my pants when I saw it.  It had to be mine and it was.  And thou brew was thou best beer consumed in some time.  Do I need to rate it? Fine, ten, yes I spelled it out. Perfect slightly cooler than room temperature, and oh so smooth and flavorful.  This made the trip go from good to great.  Thank you Guy, Damien, and Ryan.
  • Weyerbacher Simcoe IPA – Since I had already had a great beer, I did what anyone would do when overwhelmed by what to choose next (they have a huge beer list!), defaulted to bartender’s choice, told him I liked hops and IPA’s this beer hits both and was very good. 9/10, it was a great choice to trust the tender.

That was the trip, my first real beercation, I’ll have to have another soon.
