A great day for a beer fan
Decided on Saturday, while sipping some of the Great Dane beer that we should head to New Glarus and see the new brewery they have moved into. It was awesome, free tour, $6 for a pint (keep the glass!) (had Cabin Fever Bock 8/10) and what is supposed to be a self-guided tour, one of the gift shop girls came along and gave the tour anyway. Nice place, bigger than Lakefront & way bigger than Ale Asylum. Bought some gift shop stuff but then headed to the beer depot. What a find, got some stuff I haven’t had before and even picked up an R&D beer, which is only available at the brewery, more on that when I decide to drink it. See pics for more.
PS: The fun hobbies are so addictive and can be expensive. But this one tastes good.
Yes, not all the beer in the pictures is New Glarus, but my staging area is slowly taking over my dad’s workbench. Most of this brew will be privaleged to join me in Philadelphia and Atlantic City.
